GL7-HV   High Voltage Module

High Voltage Input module records direct AC power line or DC power source up to 1000Vp-p.  Some application requires faster than 50/60Hz AC signal can also be recorded on the GL7-HV using the maximum 1MS/s (1µs) for laser, IR, and blue-ray signals that may encounter high voltage values.  There is more need to measure generator/inverter based system for automotive and aerospace market as well as electrical and heavy industrial equipment for performance quality and product longevity monitoring.  GL7-HV with its real-time RMS measurement capability allows true-RMS monitoring for manufacturing with investments in high priced heavy equipment.

High withstand voltage (maximum input range 1000V)

Safe and reliable measurement of high maximum input voltage and  withstand voltage up to 2300VACrms for spikes up to 1 minute intervals with up to max 20 channels per one main GL7000 unit.

Input coupling (DC or AC)

By using the DC and AC coupling feature, voltage signal of a small AC signal superimposed on the input signal’s absolute voltage value can be measured and recorded.

RMS (effective value) measurement in real time

True-RMS effective values can be recorded for AC signals allowing trigger functions to be used for long term high voltage recording for starting the recording on a threshold level.

By measuring RMS data, you can use a smaller sampling interval to record all monitoring data. This frees your memory capacity to record less amount coming from an AC signal.
