Graphtec America, Inc., a leading manufacturer of precision imaging products for the signage, graphics and computer-aided design industries, announces the introduction of the new CE6000 Series engineering-class cutting plotters. The CE6000 is Graphtec’s leading price/performance cutter, providing an ideal solution for cutting a wide variety of materials for the sign and screen graphics industries. This new series incorporates the Advanced Registration Marks System (ARMS) 5.0, a superior feature that is typically available only with higher-end cutting plotters) along with new features such as automark detection and an expanded effective cutting area. The work of ensuring accurate long cuts is taken out of the hands of the user, and is now managed by this improved registration tracking system. The CE6000 is available in 3 model sizes ­CE6000-40 (15”), CE6000-60 (24”), CE6000-120 (48”).

The CE6000-40, CE6000-60 and CE6000-120 achieve cutting speeds of up to 24 ips, 35 ips and 40 ips respectively. Maximum cutting pressure is 300g for the CE600-40 and CE6000-60 and 450g for the CE6000-120. One completely revamped feature of this new series is the large 7-line LCD backlit screen. The new LCD screen is icon driven for intuitive usage and can function in 10 languages. In addition is the introduction of Simple Operation Mode. Having its own button on the control panel, operating in simple mode will automatically set the cutting conditions based on what type of media is selected. The 2MB buffer and Dual-port connectivity, (USB 2.0 Full Speed and Serial) makes the series compatible with virtually any current or veteran computer configuration.

& Finishing Solution

The Graphtec LCX603 is an all-in-one label printing-finishing system that includes printing, contour cutting, laminating, automatic weeding, and cross cutting of finished label sheets.

The printing-finishing system easily creates labels with text and illustrations designed on a PC. It can be used at printing companies as well as production and engineering companies making equipment and components. Short run, on-demand labels of any shape can be created quickly at a low cost resulting in minimal inventory. For Popular i-DesignR® Software

Graphtec America has released two rhinestone font volumes for the popular i-DesignR® Series software and Graphtec cutters. Each font volume has fifteen fonts with easy to use size charts for the most popular rhinestone sizes. The font sizing charts have been customized for each font style and desired rhinestone size for caps, shirts, jeans and other decorated apparel.

Rather than just being static clipart letters, the fonts are typeable and editable including kerning and line spacing and are compatible with other i-DesignR® text features. Whether you need stylized fonts such as "Bubbles", filled fonts such as "Varsity Filled" or great looking fonts for tight spaces, such as "Tiny Tiny", the font libraries have something for everyone. Silhouette CAMEO® Desktop Cutting Tool

Graphtec America has begun distributing the Silhouette CAMEO® desktop cutting tool with optical registration mark sensor manufactured by Silhouette America, Inc. The Silhouette CAMEO® is now available through Graphtec America's authorized sales channel.

The CAMEO is an electronic cutting tool for smaller sized applications but the applications themselves are almost limitless. The Silhouette CAMEO® desktop cutting tool has features typically only found on cutting plotters thousands of dollars more expensive. The impressive list of features includes an optical sensor, SD card, graphical liquid display, and intuitive blade assembly that have been integrated into a compact desktop cutter. In response to the recent massive earthquake in northeast Japan and resulting tsunami, Graphtec Corporation has confirmed the safety of its employees and their families in Japan. Graphtec America Doubles Warranty Coverage
Announces New Extended Service Programs

Effective immediately, Graphtec America has doubled the warranty coverage for current FC2250 Series and FC4200 Series flatbed cutters from one year to two years, upon product registration. Also effective immediately, Graphtec announces an On-Site Service Program and an Annual Service Choice Program for current FC8000, CE5000, FC2250 and FC4200 series cutters.

The On-Site Service Program puts a trained technician at the customer’s door to resolve the issue in person rather than shipping the product to an authorized repair center. This program is the most cost effective and quickest way to resolve the issue and get the customer back into production.
